Monte da Lua is situated within the natural park of Arrabida's Sierra, just 800m from the historic center of Azeitão. Constituted by a hill and a valley, has a total area of 8.3 ha (approximately 20,50975 acres). All the area is fenced. At the top there are sights of the Sado River, the city area of Setúbal, the Atlantic Ocean, Costa da Caparica and Lisbon, including the Sierra de Sintra. The house is surrounded by a forest of Stone Pines and by the natural vegetation of the area. The entrance of the property is controlled by an automatic gate and video system. From the gate on, a path of 500m of Portuguese pavement gives access to the house, situated at the top of the hill. As can be seen in the photographs, the house is built through terracing –in different leveled surfaces – thus permitting better accessibility between the four levels. The first level contains two suites (one being the master suite); The second level can be found the living room, bathroom, cinema room and kitchen. Third level holds a laundry room, a bedroom, two small bathrooms, and a hanger area (that is invisible from other parts of the house). It also has a shower area and, outside, the swimming pool. The fourth floor has two other suites and one office. All levels have terraces, hence promoting outdoor life.
